We are very excited for our 13th annual M.E.N.U.S. (Mentoring & Educating Nevada’s Upcoming Students) event this Friday, Oct. 17, at MGM Grand! The night will include an exclusive poolside dine-around followed by preferred seating at a concert by three-time GRAMMY Award-winning country sensation, Zac Brown Band, inside MGM Grand Garden Arena. Some of our top-tier items up for auction include dinner for four at Hakkasan Restaurant with a VIP table and bottle service at the nightclub; a six-course wine pairing dinner for six and two signed cookbooks at Joël Robuchon Restaurant; and a deluxe package from the new SLS Las Vegas Hotel & Casino which includes a two-night stay in a luxury signature king room, dinner for two at Bazaar Meat and a VIP table at LiFE nightclub. Bids will be accepted until 11 p.m. this Friday night and all prizes will be hand-delivered to the winners by an ECF representative during the week after M.E.N.U.S. Registration for M.E.N.U.S. will begin at 6 p.m. with VIP pre-registration starting at 5:30 p.m. for our Presenting, Platinum and Gold donors at the main entrance to MGM Grand pools. Guests will have the opportunity for a commemorative photo in front of an ECF banner and then proceed into the dine-around, split between the Producer’s Pool and the Talent Pool. Beginning at 8:30 p.m., guests will be escorted into MGM Grand Garden Arena for preferred seating at the Zac Brown Band concert. Temperatures for Friday evening are expected to be in the 60-degree range, and the dress code for M.E.N.U.S. is poolside-posh (or ‘cocktail’). With all of the glitz and glamour of M.E.N.U.S., it is important to recognize the overall purpose of our annual event: to raise money for deserving local students. These young individuals are inspirations for us all and continue to out-shine and out-perform our highest expectations every year. This year, we were able to capture our four newest recipients on video as we SURPRISED them with a full-ride scholarship.
