Dear Friends, Supporters and Students,

We are very excited to announce that our annual dine-around, M.E.N.U.S. (Mentoring & Educating Nevada’s Upcoming Students), is returning to the golden sandy beaches of Mandalay Bay on Friday, September 16.

Guests at M.E.N.U.S. 2016 will enjoy an exclusive poolside dine-around offering premium beverages and delectable dishes from some of the finest restaurants and chefs in the city. This year, the event will feature an extended dine-around, live entertainment, an extravagant silent auction, a posh VIP area, and an after party at Foundation Room.

As we continue to confirm details on what is expected to be the biggest and best M.E.N.U.S. yet, we are looking for businesses to participate in the event. Unique sponsorship opportunities are available in Presenting, Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze varieties. M.E.N.U.S. 2016 is expected to attract more than 1,000 guests, with tickets priced at $500 each. Our 3rd Annual Strikes for Scholarship is returning to South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa on Sunday, August 28. The best part of Strikes for Scholarships is that it is entirely planned and executed by ECF students! See below for more information.

Soak up some sun and give back at Palms Pool & Day Club with Cabanas for a Cause. On Monday, August 15 guests can purchase a cabana for the day for the discounted rate of $100. All proceeds will benefit ECF. This event opens at 10 a.m. to all ages, and cabanas will be available while supplies last.

Whether seeking to pursue careers in culinary arts or hospitality, the dreams of our deserving students are our No. 1 priority and we are continually working toward providing the best possible resource for those dreams to come true. We invite you to enjoy South Point Hotel Casino & Spa’s “Wine of the Month” special and give back to ECF! This campaign continues after the success during March and April in which the Bedford Wines from Johnson Brothers campaign sold a record breaking 2,832 bottles. Indulge in July and Augusts’ hand-selected bottles distributed through Break Thru Beverage including Murphey-Goode’s 2014 California Chardonnay and 2013 California Pinot Noir, specially priced at $20 per bottle and $1 of each purchase will be donated to ECF.
